How to choose a marketing agency: 7 questions before you sign
If an agency avoids concrete numbers, that's an answer in itself. Here's what to ask.

The questions
Ask them of every agency you talk to, including us. Comparison becomes easy when the questions are the same.
- Who owns the ad accounts and the data?
- What exactly do I receive each month, and by when?
- How do you measure success — by clicks or by customers?
- Can I see a report from a real client in my industry?
- Who specifically will work on my project?
- What's the contract term and how is it terminated?
- What happens to the materials if we stop working together?
The red flags
A guarantee of first place in Google is impossible, and anyone who promises it is counting on you not knowing that. The same goes for a fixed number of sales without analysing your offer.
Another red flag is an agency that holds the ad accounts under its own name. If you stop working together, you lose all the history and data you paid to build up.
What to expect realistically
A good agency will tell you when marketing isn't your problem. If the offer, the price or the service is lacking, advertising will only speed up the bad reviews.
